They may well have tried something a little bit different, and done a certain type of exercise or ate certain foods, but their weight loss will certainly be related to a healthier diet and getting more exercise in the majority of cases.
So the point I want to get across is that these weight loss stories are quite interesting and can provide inspiration to many people, but you shouldn't read them expecting to find the secret of weight loss. So you could easily do the same yourself if you really apply yourself and stay motivated.
